I'm always on the lookout for easy and healthier snacks. Key lime frozen yogurt bites are fast to make and fun, plus kids love to squirt the yogurt too! You can try experimenting with different flavors too for a variety of snack choices...enjoy!
Step 1: Gather up all of your ingredients & supplies:
- Key lime flavored yogurt (I used Greek yogurt)
- Graham crackers
- A kitchen mallet
- A spoon
- 2 sandwich bags
- Scissors
- Tin foil
- Cookie sheet (or flat surface that can fit in the freezer)
- Air tight storage container
Step 2: Place graham crackers in one of the sandwich bags and seal closed. Crush into a rough powder with mallet. Set aside.
Step 3: Cover pan with tin foil (important step as it will allow you to easily peel the bites off after they freeze). Using a spoon throughly stir the yogurt. Scoop into bag, let all air out of the bag and seal closed.
Step 4: With scissors, snip a small corner off of the sandwich bag.
Step 5: Carefully squirt yogurt onto pan, each one being an equal size drop and evenly spaced apart.
Step 6: Sprinkle a pinch of graham cracker powder on top of each yogurt drop. Place pan in freezer. I let mine set overnight. Peel foil from yogurt bites and place them in an airtight container in the freezer. Enjoy!
